Overnight Oats

A quick and nutritious breakfast to go.

Mornings are a busy time for all and sometimes breakfasts are the last thing you worry about.  Here is a great breakfast that you can make the night before and grab it on your way out the door.  Enjoy it on its own or with the addition of fresh fruits, nuts or a trail mix blend – make it your own.

Maple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (I use either unsweetened almond or cashew)
Add everything into a jar and seal with lid. Shake the jar well to make sure everything is mixed together and place the sealed jar in the fridge overnight. In the morning remove the jar from the fridge open and add in any toppings you want – fresh berries, chopped fruits, nuts, or a trail mix.
Close the lid, grab a spoon and off you go!
